Institutional (Academic) Subscribers - Terms and Conditions of use
An Academic subscriber is an institution dedicated to higher education who has access to the Journal’s web contents by purchasing an Institutional subscription (directly or through a subscription agent). Institutional subscribers are authenticated through IP access and are available to the academic community served by this entity. Academic subscriptions cannot be transferred to third parties.
Institutional subscribers are granted access to online usage statistics.
Authorized Users are those people who are allowed to access the Institution’s network from the Institution’s own premises. Institutional online subscriptions cover multiple access, but from one physical location only. Multi-site access (for institutions with more than one physical location) as well as remote end-user access are subject to separate agreements. Please contact
In addition to the General Terms and Conditions of Use the following terms apply. By subscribing to the Journal and using the website you agree to all terms and conditions.
Institutional subscribers are entitled to:
1) Make temporary local electronic copies (by means of caching or mirrored storage) of all or part of any protected article;
2) Allow Authorized Users to have access to the Licensed Materials from the Server via the Secure Network;
3) Provide single printed or electronic copies of single articles at the request of individual Authorized Users for individual use:
4) Interlibrary loan. The Institution may supply to an Authorized User of another library within the same country of the Institution, either by post or fax transmission, for the purpose of research or private study and not for Commercial Use, a single paper copy of an electronic original of an individual article.
Users authorized by the Institutional subscriber may:
1) Search, view, retrieve and display the Licensed Materials for personal use;
2) Electronically save individual articles or items of the Licensed Materials for personal use;
3) Print a copy of parts of the Licensed Materials for personal use;
4) Distribute a copy of individual articles of the Licensed Materials in print or electronic form only to other Authorized Users within the Institution.
Access will be discontinued at the expiration of the subscription period, unless renewed. The Publisher may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate access to the website immediately and without notice should the above terms be overruled.
Institutional subscribers and Authorized users are not entitled to:
1) Copy, abridge or modify any articles or parts;
2) Remove or alter the authors' names or the Publisher's copyright notices or any disclaimers as they appear in the Licensed Materials;
3) Use all or any part of articles for public display or sharing;
4) Use all or any part of articles for commercial use;
5) Include all or any part of articles in course packs, that is a collection or compilation of materials assembled for use by students.

Institutional (Commercial) Subscribers - Terms and conditions of use
A Commercial Subscriber is a registered user holding a valid subscription for commercial or research interests. The online subscription is available to the employees of the commercial subscriber through Username/Password (single access) or IP access (multiple access). Commercial subscriptions are not transferable to third parties. In addition to the General Terms and Conditions of Use the following terms apply. Users within the commercial institution are allowed to:
1) Search, view, download protected articles
2) Save individual articles or items for personal use
3) Print copies of individual articles for personal use.
